The dead City Elf wore a fake “201st Security Group, Magical Ops” uniform and left a Gate Pass and a necroscript letter: breadcrumbs into a new quest. Then the fan boxes open: a troll-chosen photo of Bea for Donut, and for Carl the jai-alai xistera that hurls bombs at lethal speed.
