Banned from the Desperado Club by its paranoid new manager Hamed (the Night Wyrm) Carl trades Quan’s boomerang bowler hat to the toilet-paper-turbaned Ferdinand to claim the mayorship of Shanty Town, renaming the alliance “The Good Guys,” before Louis and Juice Box are quietly married in the entrance bar. In an interlude, the Crest poisoner Tipid, a Cookbook author who escaped the Illusionists by abandoning his friend Horatio, is revealed to now be a Colonel in the Princess Posse Faction Wars team.
