Disconnect Containment

The quorum clears Carl and the Madness, Stockade smashes his own brains out under Shi Maria’s lingering Insanity and forfeits the Lemig Sortion to the Madness, and the shortened ceasefire ends as Architect Houston unmasks his six-armed body and fires on Carl, who teleports home clutching a stolen bag of cat food. In a flashback to Christmas morning at a memory-ghost gas station, Carl studies the newly installed Containment Interface and, rejecting both the doomsday fuse and inaction, presses Disconnect Containment to free the AI as the red dot over Earth begins to grow.
