Words of Power

The dog tattoo grants Donut a level-two spell from the god Wepwawet, and Milk overwrites it with calligraphic Words of Power to boost it temporarily to level 15, gifting Carl an Adept’s fountain pen and unfading Stayfast Ink for the Book of Voodoo. As Harpocrates hurls the ball into the funnel and the acid-trap begins draining the castle, Carl discovers Lucia Mar left a second, Power-Siphon-fueled net trapping Donut in the tower just as the ball breaks and Li Na orders the cast.
