Rosetta answers Carl's group message about the goddess: Chachi is obscure and has never been sponsored, unlike Eileithyia, and catchall deities of childbirth, women, water, fire and harvest do badly in the Ascendency; Prepotente matches her to the Aztec goddess of the same name, benevolent in myth and the source of a flood born of her weeping, while Mordecai can only repeat that none of this has happened before. Prepotente also confirms the long-named Hawaiian crawler is alive and goes by Makana, and promises to sing Phil Collins at Donut's imminent concert to earn guild access, which Donut says will be a duet with a heavily dosed Carl. Carl puts his hand on One Fine Pig's garage door and finds Penelope the pig beside their cracked-windshield APV, cleaning up the last of the team's spent gremlin, and takes her home.
