Bijou

A tiny, non-corporeal fairy mob that mediates god-worship in the dungeon. When someone pledges to a deity for the first time, a Bijou grabs a whisker-thin tendril of invisible light from the god and attaches it to the new adherent's heart, routing through the strongest temple on the floor (almost always inside Club Vanquisher). The light penetrates nearly any substance or spell. No one has ever caught or killed one, though Mordecai believes a special trap could; certain skills (like Edgar's Sense Movement) can spot their upward motion, the tell Carl's team used to confirm the naga escape trick.
