The Reckoning of D’Nadia
Empress killed in her throne room
Carl, Donut and the clockwork Mongos ambush Empress D'Nadia in the Prism's undefended throne room. They strip her three shields and her hidden weapons, Carl heals her to full so he can mark her with the Ring of Divine Suffering (highest stat: Intelligence), and his rage over her cruelty to Tsarina Signet nearly drives him to the kill. Donut talks him back from ‘the edge’ and orders Mongo to finish the Empress, defeating the Prism (system kill-credit goes to Mongo). The adjutant present is Nihit, the reporter Carl once throat-stabbed.
