The End-of-the-Line Mystery

Nobody remembers the end of the line. Crews black out at 435 and wake at the yard; the train resets (spilled moonshine back on its shelf, original possessions duplicated) while time moves on. A mob that once rode past the end came back as a clean-stripped skeleton: 'it killed him a lot.' And the sealed engineer? He's only ever been seen leaving his car for one thing: derailment.
