Level 101 rhino-samurai guards of the Larracos level
The ever-present guards of the bottom floor of the Desperado Club’s Larracos level: seven-foot, bipedal rhinoceros men decked out like steampunk samurai, with swords and bladed polearms. Former firefighters who migrated into security after war-zone firefighting nearly wiped them out, the Sai aren’t bright but are loyal to the end, focused on their duties to distract from urban legends about their itchy armor. When something dangerous appears they charge en masse, and against the demon Minge they’re torn apart by the dozen, heads and torsos flung through the kitchen as Carl scrambles to reach Katia.
