The Naiad Confederacy
The revolution that toppled the river crown
The “Confederacy”: the simpering dukes whose sloppy revolution beheaded the Naiad government and left the body flailing. They cast down Signet’s mother (a true Naiad princess) and now occupy her family’s old river palace, rechristened “Fort Freedom.” Signet herself was separately cast out of the river and exiled by her father’s people, the High Elves. One of the two targets of Signet’s Vengeance of the Daughter campaign on Floor Six; storming Fort Freedom to assassinate its leaders is Part One of the quest.
