The Vengeance Deal
Carl bargains with the show’s producers
Rather than topple the tent poles as scripted (and die on cue), Carl threatens to un-poison Grimaldi and ruin the show unless the producers cut a deal, brokered live through Zev. He agrees to exclusively run Vengeance-of-the-Daughter-linked elite quests on floor six in exchange for being written into the storyline alive. Then he eats a parasite worm (shielded by Wisp Armor) to mind-link Grimaldi and Signet and broker their peace. This is apparently a normal Tuesday.
