The Gurgles

A non-curable, highly contagious magical debuff that drives victims to insanity and bloody-mouthed rabies; infected soldiers tear themselves out of dirt to attack their own line. The factions agreed years ago never to use it again because it is so insidious. The Reavers infected their Behemoth pets with it before the Phase-One magic ban, so deploying it counts as an allowed exploit rather than offensive magic.
