The Abyss

At the switching station Carl climbs to Abyss Station 436 and finds the mile-wide flaming pit where spent trains are recycled: only their engine cars teleport back. He cracks the floor’s secret (the souvenir hat is a portal key) and broadcasts four escape routes. Donut’s first benefactor box is D’Nadia’s laser “Princess Donut” goggles.
