Epilogue: The Great Race

Two threads close the book. On Floor Seven (the Great Race, a Prince Rupert’s-drop maze) Prepotente, armed with the “7”-marked sponsor gifts, taps the wall and shatters the entire level at once, scattering everyone to the eighth floor (Donut picks the Viper Queen class). And in her dying act, Eva fixes the Crown of the Sepsis Whore onto Katia’s head, dooming only one of Katia or Donut to pass beyond the ninth floor.
