Damascus Steel reveals that he, his brother Anaconda, and their parents Astrid and the Night Wyrm are indentured “naturals” (born people, not generated NPCs) and begs Carl to hire the doomed Penis Parade crew before the club’s restructuring scatters them. Carl spends his 100,000-gold Meat Shields coupon to take the whole crew as Faction-Wars mercenaries; Damascus stays behind to avenge his mother on his father.
