The Naga’s Bargain

The armless prisoner Rishi the naga reveals he hid and surrendered so he could pitch Carl, named de-facto leader of Earth, a contract granting humanity five Naphil-class generation ships and naga citizenship in exchange for settling Earth’s system. Unmoved by his self-coronation as Sultan Rishi the Usurper, Carl marks him, learns his highest stat is Dexterity, and tells the watching Naga Protectorate their leader is merely the opening act.
