The runaway light shatters Elle’s Subterfuge, splitting the Madness army so half charges Carl’s tiny force; he summons Jurgen’s half-strength 105th and pulls Prepotente over, then watches a missile barrage crack the castle as a vast buggy-borne host bears down for the fight.
