The convoy reverses into the cul-de-sac past a System notification mocking Carl for driving the wrong way, and finds every garage but theirs marked with an X. Elle and Donut work the Cadillac kill out in party chat, Elle arguing that the Russians had an exit and chose to trick them instead, and Donut admitting it upsets her less than it used to. Carl's slugpox produces a second sluggalo, Lil' Mello Haze, because the cure potion Mordecai brewed was left behind on the crafting table; the slug wanders off, and Imani finally cures him outside the Hairpin. Waiting there are about thirty crawlers, including Chris Andrews back in human form and his old Meadow Lark overalls, Elle as a goblin, Prepotente fingering a glowing Apito crystal, and Jurgen minding a furious Lucia Mar. The group's reaction to Carl the dachshund is helpless, bent-over laughter, which he takes before proposing they go rob a casino.
