The System points out that stabbing a person with an arrow held in your fist is something a kid who eats glue would do, and that it is fairly sure Carl has a bow in his inventory. He does — unenchanted, looted from the same elf as the first gonorrhea arrow. His last bow shot was in high school archery class.
