Blood Trail (Debuff)

A magical bleeding debuff favored by game hunters (and medical-debt collectors), usually applied via ranged weapons. Health seeps downward at a slow, steady pace; you may heal, but every wound open when the debuff lands keeps weeping so the victim can be tracked. It also reeks: “good or bad depending on who's doing the sniffin'.” Carl catches it from a level-70 hunter's crossbow bolt fleeing Zockau, alongside a six-hour “Sore as Shit.”
