A devastating area war-spell Elle won in a loot box after the party’s first fight with the Maestro in Grull form at the end of the Iron Tangle. Mordecai warns it is meant to be cast only outdoors: it drops a sky-blackening storm of fist-sized hail across a wide field in front of the caster. Elle had dared use it just once, to help break the air quadrant on the fifth floor, before unleashing it on the demon horde outside the FOSCA tower on Floor 8, where it inexplicably cast at level 16 — Samantha, present and also glowing, denied causing the boost — annihilating the swarm and vaulting Elle six levels at once to 72.

• Chapter 2 — Elle wins the spell in a deity loot box after the Grull-Maestro fight; she dares cast it only once, to break the fifth floor’s air quadrant.
