The single Unique item in Carl's inventory: a plush armored man atop a black horse, looted (still sealed in its blast-proof case) from Miss Quill's shelf, its tag reading only “Kimaris.” For two books it's just an oddly valuable collectible with an I-hate-this-and-I-hate-you scowl, until Bautista reveals the Jaxbrin figures are true monster summons. Pull the tag and Kimaris becomes a real horse-riding demon that fights for Carl; being Unique, he is rarer than Bautista's entire collection.
