It will not go away, and it worsens rather than fades, because a crawler's health is topped back up on arrival at the next floor — reaching the Pineapple Cabaret would take her out of that cycle. Zhang's read is that it drains her too slowly to stop her hurting anyone; Carl's plan turns it into the argument for getting her off the floor entirely, since the war mages claim the Cabaret has an exit to Earth's surface that might clear it outright.

• Chapter 55 — Named as the poisoning Li Na is dying of: it will not clear and gets worse with each floor transition's automatic health top-up, and only the Pineapple Cabaret — or the surface exit the war mages claim it holds — would stop or cure it.
