The Mad Dune Mage (Ghazi)
Called the Glass Wizard · holds the Gate’s winding box
The reclusive sorcerer ruling the Land Quadrant's locked necropolis castle, called “the Glass Wizard” for the letter he leaves behind, though he signs it simply “Ghazi.” He holds the third piece of the Gate of the Feral Gods (the winding box) and claims to have cracked its secret: he can tear a portal into the Nothing with the box alone, voiding the entire world, and threatens to do exactly that before he lets the ghost Quetzalcoatlus escape the temple. His letter to Commandant Kane demands the gnomes stop bombing the tomb, whose collapse he fears, in exchange for not ending the world. His sealed castle and unseen menace loom over the floor's back half as the faction Carl must still confront for the final watch-piece.
