The End of Maggie My
Frank & Maggie’s saga ends; Chris freed
The brutal resolution of Carl’s oldest grudge. Maggie My (the Scree worm piloting Chris Andrews 2) creeps invisibly through the dunes to sabotage Carl’s gate, coerced by a caprid “cleric / liaison” threatening her other daughter. Carl drinks a Phase Lava Rock potion (brewed from the lava-yam, decoded with Samantha’s help), reaches through Chris’s rocky skull, and tears the worm out; a double-healing potion blasts her from his own neck, and Mongo eats her, ending Maggie for good. Chris Andrews 2 is finally free, grieving his brother Brandon.
