Manager Protection (Immortality)
System protection from floor 4 on
From the fourth floor on, managers (and tourists and select NPCs) get system protection: they can still be hurt, feel pain and 'die,' but death just kicks them from the game rather than killing them. Mordecai is unprotected through floor three. His manager bonus grows the longer Donut survives: incentive not to simply step in front of a murder dozer to win his freedom.
