Mordecai

The guildmaster of the tutorial hall: a Non-Combatant NPC who was once a crawler himself, reaching floor 11. Gruff, funny and weary, he becomes Carl and Donut's registered guide, then Donut's manager. The dungeon reassigns his body on every floor (see the form log), so the only constants are the attitude and the Level 50.

• Chapter 3 — Properly met inside the guild hall.
• Chapter 4 — Explains the rules, species and viewership.
• Chapter 8 — Parting warning: "It’s not worth it... not until floor 12."
• Chapter 35 — Regroups with the duo in a creepy new Bugaboo form: recoils at Odette’s message and the name “Damien.”
