Rishi
A four-armed, legless green-and-purple naga in dented plate, the representative (and royal in-law) of the Blood Sultanate at the Faction-Wars table. Coiled, unflappable and quietly amused, he reminds Carl of the reporter Nihit. Because Donut's Sepsis crown binds her into the Sultanate, Rishi half-jokingly calls her family and notes that, by the same logic, he would be honor-bound to serve her or Katia should she ever take the throne. He is the season's calm menace: as Juice Box's NPC terror campaign escalates he proposes a limited compromise (invulnerability and a safe zone for the unaffiliated NPCs), then promises the Sultanate is “quite versed in dealing with terrorism” and will answer her far more harshly than she'll enjoy. The Naga are the team Carl and Donut must destroy.

- Chapter 21 — Introduces himself at the Faction-Wars meeting as the Blood Sultanate’s envoy: the faction Donut’s crown binds her to fight.
- Chapter 22 — Proposes a compromise for the rogue NPCs, then vows the Sultanate will answer Juice Box’s terrorism in kind.
