A small, gray, featureless level-3 Changeling Juvenile orphaned when the gnomes bombed his village, now raised by a dromedarian patroller named Flint, who tells him to take the form of every new person he meets so they feel comfortable. Unsettlingly, he does, robotically morphing into a generic eight-year-old boy, briefly wearing an outfit identical to Carl's before it switches to a dromedarian-style robe. He charges a gold coin (on Flint's orders: “orphans get by using their talents”) to let Carl use his rooftop gnome telescope, and feeds Carl the kid's-eye version of the town's hostage secret.
