The Rock Beneath

As the Scream Warriors teleport in to face the Madness army, enemy mind-mages hammer Carl with psionic debuffs until his Mind Balance hits level 16 while his bare feet sink into an All Tree root, letting him shrug off their magic and paint their mages for the Cheese Cutters. Then the goddess Eris panic-casts Bear Witness and Bring Forth the Witnesses, freezing everyone outside a structure and rapturing them into the sky, leaving only Carl, Dong Quixote, and a few pets awake and invulnerable.
