Li Na Goes to Market
Li Na hovers glowing in the guild common room while Mordecai explains the loophole that will get her out: an XL pet carrier holds a willing crawler for about ten seconds, and a cleaner bot's weight-based utility inventory is the one container that can swallow the loaded carrier before it breaks. The bot is then listed for sale, Herot buys it, and he empties her out inside the Pineapple Cabaret, where she will be recorded as lost rather than dead. Rosetta admits nobody is certain the contents transfer with the sale or that Li Na survives the floor's collapse, and produces the status channel: the little cactus from Carl's room, dread-trapped with Deadly Bloom, whose condition reports hers and whose single bloom would mean it is safe to send more. Mistress Tiatha says only that it has been done before. Prepotente, won over by the pet stables and the Bopca, reverses himself and asks to conjoin his personal space to the guild, offering up an unused karaoke kit. Zhang apologizes for surviving where Jun did not, Li Na speaks for the first time to absolve him and promise she will keep the war mages from turning, and then she is boxed, swallowed, switched off and sold, after which the Oak Fell surfaces through Mordecai for one sentence.
