The Abyss Gate & Employee Portal

Gore-Gore’s intel, bought with Donut’s charisma: past stop 435 the engine drives through an enormous abyss gate back to the depot (cars “deep-cleaned” in transit, “sometimes there are bones”), while dwarf and grapple crews take a memory-wiping employee portal run by the dark-magic Kravyad. Riders inside the ENGINE car survive the gate, but engineers are honor-bound to kill anyone who tries. Two roads to the stairwells. Both guarded.
