Book Burner Upgrade Patch

A medium embroidered upgrade patch (a book on fire) from Carl’s Gold Talk of the Town Box (earned by enraging the Nightgaunt with his flesh cloak, the “LBC” taunt achievement). Affixed to an eligible garment it grants +15% Intelligence and the Book Burner benefit: once a day, force an opponent your level or lower to forget a spell for 30 hours (5% failure chance per level they’re above you), targeting either a named spell or the last one cast. Like all upgrade patches it is destroyed if removed.

Book 6 appearances

• Chapter 48 — Awarded inside the “LBC” achievement’s Gold Talk of the Town Box.
• Chapter 49 — Opened and examined: its Book Burner skill can strip a spell from a lower-level foe once a day.
