Claw Caps

Covers for a cat's claws, sold through the safe-room shop interface in a range of colors and armed or removed at will from the inventory. Rosetta buys a red set to dim the permanent blue light of Donut's celestial claws, which are sharp enough to open Mongo's saddle, the furniture, or Carl's shoulder. Being slightly translucent, the red caps turn the glow purple, which Donut accepts only under protest.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 9 — Rosetta finds them on the shop interface once it is clear the glowing claws will cut whatever Donut lands on; Mordecai confirms the caps are exactly what the situation calls for.
