Rosetta Thagra
The host of OIPAN's documentary show Shadow Boxer: a pale, meek-seeming Crest (the eyebrow-less human race) in a pantsuit with an odd blond hair-blob, only her aging voice betraying that she is herself a former crawler, barely two seasons older than Mordecai. A demolitions-loving game guide in her day, she got out of the dungeon, made a well-received documentary about her home planet (“The Other Side of the Glass”), and now uses Shadow Boxer to tell Earth's story through staged, intimate interviews. Carl realizes she is almost certainly “Rosetta,” author of the ninth edition of the Anarchist's Cookbook, whose anguished margin-notes rage at the galaxy's cruelty and vow accountability. Nervous and watched by Harbinger, she steers Donut's TV obsessions toward feeling, then turns to Carl: “Let's talk about your dead mother.”
