Comeback Kid & Soul-Struck Flesh Ripper (Classes)

Two entries from Donut's eleventh-floor class list, and a fair illustration of how she reads one. Soul-Struck Flesh Ripper sounds frightening but strikes her as ungrounded, not the sort of thing the Posse will connect with. Comeback Kid is a bard-and-mage combination that hands back every skill from all her previous iterations at a significantly higher level, and, loudest of all, comes with a movie deal if she ever gets out of the dungeon. Mordecai reads it and reports it is genuinely good; Carl kills it, on the grounds that inheriting the upsides means inheriting the penalties too, and Glass Cannon's alone would gut her constitution. Donut also complains that the whole second tab is the same as last time, which she considers no fun.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 88 — Donut works down her class list, dismisses Soul-Struck Flesh Ripper as ungrounded and pushes hard for Comeback Kid and its movie deal; Mordecai confirms it is good but carries the old penalties, and Carl vetoes it over Glass Cannon's constitution hit.
