The Crater Gambit

Carl's plan to crack the Prism trenches: assault troops drop into the craters Louis bombed in front of the enemy line, then read Build Trench scrolls to dig channels that ‘enjoin’ the enemy trench from below, bypassing its protections. NPC Team Retribution spies fill the enemy's empty middle trench with water and transmute it to acid under an illusion. Routed soldiers fall back from the breached first trench and blindly leap into the acid pool: a horrifying rout that defeats the Prism front. Carl caps his breach by activating Daughter's Kiss and leaping onto a Saccathian.
