Daughter’s Kiss

self-buff strike · disperses soul poisoning

A skill Carl can activate to disperse his worsening Soul Poisoning. Technically a self-buff (so it remains usable under the no-offensive-magic ban), it is first named and used when Carl punches a dead shark with his fist. Later, in Chapters 24-25, it is applied to a body part: Carl activates it on his foot, then leaps onto a Saccathian soldier with devastating force. His escalating Soul Poisoning corrupts it: after activation he is knocked out cold by a ‘Post Nut Clarity’ debuff for ~25 seconds, making it lethal to use in close quarters.
