Donar

The god Jurgen worships, and the reason Carl will not send him out through the escape route. Jurgen describes him as a thunder-and-lightning god cut from much the same cloth as Thor, only more so, and is quick to add that he is not sponsored this season, since Jurgen is not fool enough to hand his worship to anything carrying a sponsor. Donar has handed down a few lightning spells. Carl, who is quietly sorting every deity he hears about into a chart by affiliation and skill set, files him and moves on to the part he actually cares about, which is whether Akuma's claim about gods drawing a smite was ever true.

Book 8 appearances

• Chapter 58 — Carl refuses to send Jurgen out through the Pineapple route because he worships Donar, which sets Jurgen arguing over whether the ban is a real rule or a convenient one.
• Chapter 58 — Jurgen describes Donar as a thunder-and-lightning god in Thor's mould but manlier, unsponsored this season, and the source of a few lightning spells; Carl adds him to the chart of deities he has been building.
