Fast heat-cycle desert mobs
Donut-sized, fast-moving creatures that swarm the dunes outside Hump Town once the second sun rises and the killing heat sets in: the daytime replacement for the slower Thorny Devils. Their red dots flood Carl’s map in numbers, and he knows fighting through them is inevitable, but he has no desire to do it in the heat.
