What the Drop Bear’s egg-bombs actually carry: an Altitude-Based Deployment Device meant to airburst and release a living Canada Goose, a level-45 Neighborhood Boss, onto the target. Carl’s luck holds: the rusted device is broken, so it never opens and the goose is splattered dead on impact (“you are goddamn lucky this thing is dead”). Mordecai notes anything with “feral” in the name is bad news, the first whisper of the floor’s titular feral gods. Carl pockets the corpse in his new Mob Morgue inventory tab.
