The staff of the Chicken and Waffles and Upgrades diner. Carl clocks them as flightless imps rather than gremlins — similar creatures, only a little smaller. Darla-Dean works the front of house; Hickster ran the hidden upgrade counter until Akuma killed him.

- Chapter 37 — Staff the newly opened diner, hand out menus and take the party's order while the upgrade counter sits unattended behind the jukebox.
- Chapter 39 — One of them discovers Hickster's corpse and starts flipping out, cutting Carl's questioning of Akuma short.
