Hickster

The level 25 Upgrade Imp who ran the top-shelf counter behind the C&W&U jukebox. Carl's party finds him already dead on that counter in his overalls, eyes burned out and the body still smoldering, Akuma of the War Mage Rebellion put him down to clear the room. His loot is a note addressed to Carl.

• Chapter 37 — Found dead on the upgrade counter with his eyes burned out, still smoking; Samantha sits on the corpse and spins, flecking blood around the room.
• Chapter 38 — Samantha gets bored of the interrogation and gnaws on the dead imp's foot.
• Chapter 39 — Another imp walks in on the body and panics, which forces the party to abandon the interrogation and leave.
