Gwendolyn Duet ("Gwen")

A vocal, foul-mouthed crawler stuck in Bubble #543’s Land Quadrant far below at sea level: a self-described “proper fucking lady” with a Club Vanquisher ring and the literally-named class Boring Ol’ Fighter. She and her two teammates are the strongest in their quadrant, facing the Sandcastle of the Mad Dune Mage: four tiers of walls, giant snakes and spiders, shirtless scorpion-men, and chainsaw birds. She becomes Carl’s main intel line on the other quadrants. Carl trims her screen-hogging name to “Gwen.”

Book 4 appearances

• Chapter 2 — The only crawler to answer Carl’s bubble-wide call; reports the Land Quadrant’s sandcastle.
• Chapter 20 — Leads the Land Quadrant siege as a blunt “Boring Ol’ Fighter”; clashes constantly with Katia, who stalls Gwen’s easy flood plan to wait for Carl.
• Chapter 24 — Entering the stairwell chamber breaks the castle’s crystallization spell, popping the un-frozen Lika doll head out of Carl’s inventory.
