The Death of Hekla
Katia kills the #2 crawler — the season’s first bounty
Hekla's plot to have Katia killed and Carl provoked backfires catastrophically. After Donut exposes the phased bolts, Katia, mocked past breaking by Eva, fires her wild, imprecise Rush ability at Eva, misses by inches, and splatters Hekla the Amazonian Shieldmaiden against the train wall instead. 'A champion has fallen. A bounty has been claimed.' Katia rockets from level 24 to 37, earns a golden bounty skull and the 500,000-gold bounty. Donut reanimates Hekla's corpse and triplicates it to cover their escape, looting her unique crossbow in the chaos. Brynhild's Daughters dissolves on the spot.
