Crossbow of the Scavenger Mother of Mothers

Hekla's signature weapon, looted by Katia from her corpse: a unique, golden repeating crossbow sacred to the vulture goddess Nekhebit. It never runs out of basic ammo, grants +15 Dex / +10 Str, casts Birth Defect on monsters that spawn or breed more monsters, and (the reason Hekla surrounded herself with women) gains +25% damage and fire rate per female in the party, up to thirty. Female-wielder only. Weaker in Katia's hands than Hekla's, but still one of the best weapons in the game.
