The Reaver Castle

shifting honeycomb fortress

The Reavers' bombed-out, box-like fortress on the ash-covered plains, resembling a life-sized evil-lair playset and made of a tough, plastic-like material. Its interior is a maze of honeycomb-shaped hallways, none tall enough to stand in, that constantly shift and reconfigure: a starship-derived design that lets credentialed Reavers navigate instantly while turning the place into a nightmare for intruders (each cell can become an escape pod). Damaged by Sledge's missile strike, the system grinds and jerks. Carl ultimately blows it apart with a No Disassembles pulse and the dogs' nuke payloads.
