Necklace of Indelible Woe

spell-stealing companion to the Suffering ring

A piece of gear in the same collection as the Ring of Divine Suffering, explained by Tipid when the Posse wonders how King Rust amassed dozens of spells so quickly. The necklace swaps one of the wearer's own random spells for a spell from a target; killing the target yields one of their five highest-level spells. Like the Suffering ring it only works on crawlers (and crest like Tipid). Combatants once farmed crawlers to power it, so the warlords agreed to stop using it: Tipid calls it far worse than the Suffering ring, useful only to a psychopath with spells to spare.
