The Mongoliensis Mystery (The Recital)
Why the dinosaurs swarm Point Mongo
A thread the System’s monster-examine text flags as important: dinosaur-class monsters didn’t exist in the Hunting Grounds before Scolopendra’s nine-tier attack, yet here they are, every pack all-female, growing bolder by the day. The System hands Donut a quest, “The Recital,” when the Ursine complain the raptors keep probing Point Mongo’s walls: exterminate them, or find out what they want and give it to them, for a Gold Quest Box and a free town upgrade. As the dinosaurs withdraw, Carl catches a prism-like glint of light in the trees, plus spots a single very large dino watching from deeper in the jungle: a hint that something is drawing them, and that Mongo is at the center of it.
