The Nightmare Express

A jet-black steam engine pulling ∼40 cars on a 90-minute loop, marked 666 on the boiler. Fourteen open-top cars haul giant caged monsters under a roof-height chain fence; the only boarding points are a front passenger car (exit only) and a rear caboose, forcing riders to crawl the roof past the cages. Carl skips all that: he sets his Protective Shell on the track, lets the train plow through it to clear every mob, gets clipped by the cowcatcher nearly to death, and climbs aboard to take it over.
